Every once in a while a horse comes into your life that has a special place in your heart. Little RJ has stolen ours. Born in early July 2006, with a slightly bumpy start, RJ has bloomed. Tiny by most breeders standards. He stands just under 10 h at 9 months old. We do not expect him to top 13h at maturity. Losing his mother at 6 months of age could have shaken his confidence and outgoing nature. If anything he has become more personable and friendly. He is all "boy" even now. We expect he will develop into a wonderful small blagdon stallion. When people describe a pocket horse, they might as well be talking about RJ. He is kindly known as "lil poppy" here on the farm.
